Privacy Policy

Account Information — When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and public profile name. We store only what is required to identify your account.

Profile Data — Nickname and bio that you voluntarily enter in your profile settings.

Reviews — Star ratings, text, visit date, and photos you submit for filming locations.

Affiliate Link Interactions — When you click a partner link (e.g. accommodation, tours) we log the location ID and timestamp. No personal identifiers are stored.

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under applicable data protection law (including GDPR):

• Contractual necessity — Processing your Account Information and session data is required to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — Anonymised Affiliate Link Interaction counts help us understand which content is useful, without impacting your privacy.
• Consent — Profile data and reviews are processed solely based on your voluntary submission.

• Display your profile and reviews on the service.
• Authenticate your session securely.
• Measure Affiliate Link Interactions (anonymised counts only).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

Supabase — We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the ap-northeast-2 (Seoul) region. See Supabase Privacy Policy.

Google OAuth — Sign-in is handled by Google. See Google Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense — We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out via Google Ads Settings.

Affiliate partners — Stay22 and Klook have their own privacy policies. We share no personal data with them; only a standard HTTP referral is sent when you click a link.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, after which all personal data will be removed within 30 days.

Under GDPR and applicable law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Submit any request to ask@kscenemap.com.

We use a single session cookie issued by Supabase for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

If we make material changes we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
